Peter Storm Buxton Walking Boot
Not really up to daily use .
Bought these boots in September 2024. It’s now February 2025 . I wear them during the week to walk the urban streets, and cover 2 miles a day . Unfortunately they are very poorly made .The sole of one boot has degraded and it is letting in water ,and they are becoming painful to walk in.The eyelet for the laces have shredded the laces making fastening them time consuming and fiddly. Purchased as an everyday boot as alternative to pair of Scarpa boots I had for 20years . So in my opinion very very poor value for money and to be avoided. Going back to Scarpa boots for better value.

Great value
I've had these boots for a while now, hiked up Scotland and worn them on the beach. They have faired just fine, a small amount of fraying where the laces have rubbed on the top of the fabric but they are still totally waterproof and very comfortable. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a great pair of boots that will stand up to light abuse that won't break the bank
Disappointed
Bought these and thought they were a bargain. 2nd week, no significant use, one of the eyelets popped off. Also the eyelets are closed so you have to put the laces through them which makes putting the boots on/off more difficult. Otherwise a good stout boot suitable for all types of walking. The ankle is a bit on the high side but ok for me.
