There are surprisingly firm ridges along the base of the straps where they're glued into the sole, so unless you're happy wearing socks in them, they tend to rub uncomfortably over any distance. Not sure if it's the glue, raised stitching, or both; though not the best - despite being quite grippy otherwise.
