Excellent tread, comfort, general make etc. However, having previously had this style they are of a lesser quality. The dark toe patch is now a rubberised paint rather than the leather(?) patch it was previously. Within three days it has started to peel, exposing the material underneath and rendering that patch essentially pointless as it is not protecting the rest of the shoe. Extremely disappointing given the good quality of the rest of the shoe. My last pair of this make have the leather patch and despite having worn them literally to pieces, the toe patch is still completely intact.
