This is a well insulated mug which is comfortable to drink out of. But I returned my first one thinking that the lock had broken so Millets exchanged it. The second one appeared to have broken as well but I have discovered the issue. The lever that hinges over the top which opens the flap underneath slides backwards and forwards (for some reason) as well as the locking catch. It isn't obvious during use but if it is in its forward position, the locking catch won't engage so it then won't seal. I hope that it will be fine now that I have worked out what's going on!
