Peter Storm Men's Downpour Waterproof Jacket

Very nice fitting and comfortable jacket, probably best suited for late autumn to spring as quite warm.
Jacket lasted for 45 mins in light rain until it started to leak, and I had water running down my arm, when I got back after a 3 1/2 hour walk my shoulder and arm was soaking wet.
Jacket packs well and and dries relatively quick.

I bought this for dog walking as at £35 in the sale it seemed a great bargain. I have worn it twice in torrential rain and it is ok for an hour before water starts to seep through. Pockets get wet quicker so have to store dog treats elsewhere. I don’t get soaked but I am definitely not bone dry if out for more than an hour. In lighter rain it is fine but torrential rain ok if not out too long, however at £35 it is still a decent jacket.

I purchased this jacket for walking the dog, however found myself climbing the Watkins trail up the side of snowdon. I was the only one apparently on the mountain, as it was possibly the worst storm I'd experienced whilst out climbing. Sideways rain like daggers and howling winds... but I got to the top, and back down the miners track absolutely bone dry, for 30 quid I'm proper chuffed!! I've no idea how long the waterproof qualities will last, but I hope it continues to perform as it did on my first outing.

For its light weight it’s surprisingly warm and comfortable. I bought it for walking the dog and to stop getting wet in the rain , which it does . I have since bought 4 more

Nice light jacket well made not tried it in the wet yet but otherwise does the job.

Brought this as stocking filler for my 12 yr old! Brilliant coat son loves it! Not quite the winter coat! But he can layer up!

Ideal waterproof

Bought this for my 17 year old son and he loves it. It looks smart and he loves the inside zip pocket for his phone and bus tickets. He says it’s properly waterproof although it’s only been tested in a light shower. He likes the fact that you can roll away the hood when not needed and that it’s lightweight enough to squash into his bag. Great buy, very pleased. I bought the women’s version for my daughter the next week!
