Bought this from Millets last year. I walk my akita 3/4 miles every day canal/river whatever the weather. Within 6 months the sole had separated from the uppers. The 'leather' uppers had peeled off like varnish. I've had 3/4 pairs of Hi Tec in the last 10 years. These are definitely really not what they are supposed to be . Just un classic rubbish being marketed as 'class'

God wide fit but a bit damp
Bought these boots back April this year and only paid £47.20 for them,I needed a wide fit boot for my right foot which has started suffering fro what has been diagnosed as arthritis.They are an ok value for money product but the water does seep in from either the two seams on the sides of each boot or through the fabric tongue.I have worn them almost every day since I bought them and the rubber sole is wearing away pretty quickly.The leather is starting to crack at where the boot flexes.But they are a good wide fit and have helped me manage the arthritic pain better than my previous boots.

I'm on to my third pair of these boots and disappointed.. The finish on the leather is peeling off. They have done many miles. The soles still have life left in them. They are still waterproof. They look terrible. All scruffy with the shiny finish peeling off. The previous 2 pairs I had were fantastic value for money. Lasted a long time and very comfortable. I'll order another pair of Hitec and hope they fit the same. But will go up a grade this time...
