Features
small with fit should of got a size bigger gave them away as a gift
They were everything I expected them to be and a good fit.
Great boots for winter dog walks
Very comfortable and really good ankle support.
Based on previous reviews about them being a bit on the tight side I decided to buy a size bigger than I normally have as I wanted to make sure there was room to wear a thick pair of socks as well. This was a good idea as they fitted perfectly. So far waterproofing is working well and they're very comfortable. I liked the laces which don't come loose unexpectedly.
had to return as they were to tight across my foot
all items fitted as expected and were of true likeness to the pictures on site.
Boots were too narrow. Had lots of pairs from Hi-Tec in this size before, always been comfortable fit, I'm probably 9 1/2 really. Lots of makers making their shoes too narrow these days!
I am completing this review to reflect my experience of your staff at High Wycombe Blacks and millets stores. I first went into Blacks in the Eden Centre and was advised by a staff member that the boot size was not available but he re-directed me around the corner to millets who did have the boot size required. It was immediatetly produced and I bought the boots. Very impressed with a positive purchasing experience, very helpful. The reverse side of the receipt asks for feedback on the Store Visit (which this is) but the online review here suggests a product review? Not worn my boots yet?
In most respects the boots are excellent, though too narrow as others have commented. But whilst being reasonably waterproof, supportive and well made, they don't last long if you walk. I've now worn my third pair out within 25 months. The issue is primarily the soles, which are formed around hollow segments, in order to provide "suspension". I find I get 7 months use out of the boots, before they're effectively scrap (NB. The boots and soles cease to be supportive once worn through to those hollow segments and within weeks are almost painful to walk in - I've tried repairs. Don't work)
