Great value mat
Too narrow
Nice mat very warm but too narrow. I kept waking up with half my body cold as it was on the floor. Both sides are quite slippy too so has a tendency to slip out from under you, I even tried putting it in my bivvy bag but woke with it beside me!
Good well priced mat let down by a couple of things.
A decent mat that packs down to a very compact size but has a couple of issues:
Due to the sections being horizontal it's quite easy to slide off, coupled with the fact the material is pretty slippery too I found myself sliping off it several times in a night. It also means the mat slides around the tent.
Found due to the sections it pushed up in the middle of lying on my back.
Also despite saying it's insulated there's no R rating available for this mat.
Decent thickness to soak up uneven ground and it certainly didn't deflate overnight.
Ok for the money but needs refining.
This mat feels, chunky and warm and as a result, very comfortable. I am also really excited that it is compatible with the alpkit pump sac so I don't have to blow it up with my mouth!
