Peter Storm Women’s Caldbeck Waterproof Walking Boot

Bought these boots in the sale and I'm so glad I did. I wore them as soon as I got them and have found them to be really comfortable and warm. No rubbing what so ever. I was walking on Dartmoor a couple if days ago, which was very water logged, and the boots were completely waterproof and my feet remained dry. I've always worn walking boots with the highest lacing part unused as I don't like then too tight around my ankle, I've done the same with these. As others have said they are darker than in the photo. I'm very pleased with them and have no regrets buying them.

They look ok. Quite heavy. Waterproof at the moment, but not warm at all.
I’ve had them 4 days and my feet are in bits. I have to wear them every day to walk my dogs so, I have no choice but to wear them, as my other pair have decided to leak. I’m looking for another pair now as I can’t put up with how uncomfortable these are.

This is my second pair of Caldbeck boots, my previous pair having finally started leaking after several years and literally hundreds of miles of use. They are the lightest and most comfortable winter walking boots I have ever had, although the sole is not very grippy on smooth wet surfaces (Vibram soles are better imo). I am normally a 6.5/40 but take a 7/41 in these as there are no half sizes, which is fine as I have quite wide feet. Strangely, though, the new boots feel slightly bigger than the old ones so I need thicker socks. All in all, a good value, dependable pair of boots.

Lovely boots, very comfy and true to size. One thing is they are a lot darker then the picture shows. This isn't really an issue but a little disappointing.

Comfortable, no wearing in needed. Good ankle support. They have kept my feet dry so far.

I chose these boots as a present.
They are waterproof and very sturdy. They are lightweight and very comfortable . I have a couple of active dogs and I do a lot of walking with them.they are perfect for the job.

Great shoes, very comfortable and so far waterproof. I will use a waterproof spray to keep them this way.

Good boots and perfect for walking the dog, especially when it is wet (and there has been a lot of wet in the early part of this year).

DO NOT BUY!. Present for Christmas 2020 (bought in Oct). Started wearing in March/April and wore yesterday for first time in wet grass. Feet became sodden very quickly and socks were ringing wet. Absolutely not waterproof. Eyelets also starting to break off. For price expected so much more. Have shoe version and had no issues which is why I asked for boots. Am returning for refund.

This is my second pair these boots fit perfectly and from day one have never hurt my feet I love them.

very comfortable from the first walk

I bought these for my child to use for their bronze DofE expedition. These gave up after half a day of intermittent rain. They were totally sodden and my child had to borrow a pair of boots for the second day. If they had been camping (stopped due to COVID19) I dread to think how she would have fared on day 2 as the boots took several days to dry out. Very disappointed and will be making a formal complaint for replacement. The positive comments make me wonder whether manufacturing quality checks are an issue especially as the replacement boots are an older version of the same boot!

I bought these very late April, I walk each morning 3.8 mile, the soles have worn. I can feel every stone underfoot!!
But, they were very comfy and didn't need any breaking in, not waterproof, as out in rain one morning, my feet were soaked.
Plus I find my feet sweat on each wear.

Bought these boots last Spring to walk my dogs. They are not waterproof and after one summers use (I revert to wellies in the winter) one of the curved cleats that hold the laces came out of the boot.

Very comfortable, true to size walking boots. Fully waterproof and excellent quality.

Great product. Lovely design and colour and extremely comfortable with good ankle support.
