Order your usual shoe size, but bear in mind that your feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk. If you fall between sizes it is best to go for the bigger option.

Comfortable, but poor construction
Really disappointed as they are very comfortable, but after 18 months reasonably light use, the side steam has split as described by others, and also heels have worn through.

Comfortable from the start, lightweight,not too heavy . Recommended.

Split on seam after two years of light wear. Disappointing, not least because they were comfortable and waterproof until then.

As described, I bought a size up and the fit is good.
Waterproof but lacks longevity.
The shoe lacked a bit of flexibility at first but loosened up after a few walks. They had been waterproof until the stitching at the side started to fail, which unfortunately was exactly after one year of ownership. Perhaps it was the exceptional wet weather of late as being a regular walker they would have seen a lot of water. However, I religiously clean my shoes after each walk and treat them with Grangers G-Wax, so still surprised that the stitching has failed. Unfortunately as with many shoes/boots, the seams are always in the wrong place, where you bend your foot!!

Same as the other shoe really, nice design and (hopefully waterproof as stated) but tight fitting on the width so a wider fitting option would be preferable.

Lightweight but sturdy waterproof walking shoes which fit well and feel great. Quite stiff sole but I prefer this as stones can create discomfort with softer soles.

My previous shoes were a pair of Brashers, but were no longer available in the style I wanted, so decided to try Peter Storm for a change. These are good looking and so far reasonably comfortable, but its early days yet, having only done 5 miles so far.My only negative is that are not as well cushioned inside as I would have liked and will probably need to buy some gel insoles - something I have never needed with Brasher shoes
Nice walking shoe and comfortable to wear although too tight across the width to wear a thick sock. After six months the side seam across the toe split on one shoe and two months laterlater the second shoe also split. This allowed water to seep in. A wide fit or half sizes would be beneficial as I would like to buy another pair.
