Decent work boots at sale price …
Good comfortable work boot , no breaking in needed but at same time not worth the £100+ price tag (worth the £50 sale price fairly)negative for me is the fact they have a hidden metal strip in the heel which sets off alarms at my work so I need to take them off everytime before I go in..
It didn't say in key features this was the case …. but have worn them not so will just need to take it on the chin I guess.
Comfortable work boot
These are my second pair. My work involves airside at busy airport. First pair lasted 2 years before the soles started leaking and splitting but still very comfortable to wear on a 8 hour day. When I finish my shift I put Kiwi boot polish on and leave them overnight, in the morning polish them up This helps to supple up the leather and helps keep them waterproof and makes them more flexible to wear, and looking good too!I would buy again at this price.remember the socks you wear also makes a difference. Being ex forces you were taught to look after your footwear. Simples.
Poor Quality
I have purchased Magnums for over 10 years. I purchased a pair of these and within 4 months the soles fell off both shoes at the front.
There has definitely been a decline in quality of this product.
Poor quality. Now overpriced.
Bought these twice, first at £49 then £55 the second pair lasted less than 6 months. Came back to see other reviews and I share the same view they’re definitely not as sturdy as the first pair and at £95 i be spending my money elsewhere.
Quality seems to have declined?
We've always bought Magnum boots and they've generally been brilliant, hard wearing and comfortable - and lasted a few years each. We've now been through two pairs since last April - this latest pair was bought in Nov 2022, and the sole has come away in just 9 months of wear. Perhaps the manufacturers can comment on this?
Poor quality
These are my second pair of the boots, first ones were so comfortable from the off, reason I bought again, my new ones are very uncomfortable and look so much poorer quality. Heels are still rubbing, and my feet ache after taking them off.

bought these on the 31/1/24. noticed on 26/3/24 that the heel on one was worn thru and hanging loose. second ones about to go. i wear these for work 4 days a week.
the sole fell off my last magnum boots, but that was after 9 months.
