A good bag/rucksack compromise
The fact the ruckstrap straps can be concealed to carry and check in as a regular bag is a great feature. Also the ability to jettison the smaller back section for use as a day bag is very useful. I would have liked some clips/rings to attach a tent or sleeping mat externally, but otherwise it gives me exactly what I want at a good price.

The bag has a decent capacity and the detachable day pack is a good idea and the ability to seal in the back pack straps so that it can be checked in like a traditional bag is a useful option. The solid back piece does make the bag heavier - about 2 1/2 kg in total.

Just as I expected. Arrived on time.
The product is not wheeled but carried and a little heavy when empty, but in general Eurohike are a great company with an very extensive range of products at simply unmatched pricing, nobody beats them. The product itself may not be hi-tech in design, but it carries a big load and has good versatility with a detachable lite-pack. Overall the Colossus is a good product, and at the price level becomes a great product, nobody makes a better product at the same price, except perhaps in China.
