Quality product.
Have purchased Berghaus products before and have never been disappointed. I needed a coat that could withstand heavy downpours, this fits the bill, very well made.

Straight replacement of a well used Cornice jacket
This is a straight replacement of well used jacket. I have had many years of reliable use of a cornice jacket for summer and winter use in a variety of weather. So it was a must to get a direct replacement. The extra length and interactive zip meant many hours of comfortable use in some pretty unpleasant weather

The jacket I purchased is not of the same quality as my original one that I have also I've had to purchase the Inner Fleece as a separate item..
However, the Service from Millets has been excellent.

My first one of these but pleased wit it so far but have yet to test in the rain. However l have never been let down by gore-tex yet
Men's Cornice Jacket
A high quality product with lots of useful features: an inside pocket, zips on the outside pockets, smooth running main zip, a hood for very wet weather. It has replaced the previous edition of this jacket which I used for over 10 years. My only disappointment is that the depth of the two outside pockets has reduced and I can no longer put everything I want into them. Another 3-4cm would be ideal.

Great jacket, superbly waterproof. Good price and sizing just right.
Replacement
Bought one in 2012 and it was still going strong but I shrunk. So called on good old Vinted and got some cash to replace and renew for one that fits me. Just a few minor details from the old model but still mainly the same. Time will tell if it is still as good. It keeps you dry so that is what counts.
Good Quality
The coat is spacious and of good quality. I gave it four stars for quality because I found the breathability of the fabric to be different from my expectations.
Even better than before?
My new Cornice has a lot to live up to. Its predecessor (same version, in red) has kept me dry and warm for more than 20 years. but zips and poppers were starting to fail and it was beginning to look more shabby than chic. Enticed by the price reduction, I now have a brand new Cornice and as well as that 'new' feeling, I have noticed improvements to the hood to give better protection from the rain and in the poppers securing the waterproof cover to the main zip. OK, the pockets are not quite as deep but still useful enough and the overall quality bodes well for the next 20 years.

I liked this jacket so much I bought my dad one for walking the dog as it keeps you incredibly dry, He’s delighted with it.
