Merrell Men’s Moab 2 Mid GORE-TEX® Walking Boot

Had a pair of these boots for just over 2 years now. They are absolutely brilliant, comfortable from the get go and about as waterproof as they come. Well worth the initial outlay if you want a pair of boots that will last and continue to be comfortable throughout.

Bought this boot from Jenny and James at the Darlington store. Was originally Jenny - she served us even though due her break ( we found this out when James came across and took over from her - he even asked if we were okay with that!). Both were excellent; knew their stuff and were incredibly helpful. But even better than that, they were both very personable. A thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience..... I don't think I've ever written that before.

Yesterday I bought a pair of Merrell Men’s Moab 2 Walking Boots at Milletts in Eastbourne…. I had gone to buy a different pair of boots which I had seen advertised on line. But the staff in the store could not have been more helpful. They explained the different qualities and were so professional and knowledgeable that I took their advice and bought the Merrell Boots. They were better quality more comfortable and I went for a long walk in them yesterday afternoon to prove it ! I cannot speak too highly of the wonderful team in your Eastbourne shop and I would like to commend them all.

The boot is well made, looks good and are comfortable. They are however a bit tighter than other shoes so beware of that. The left boot sometimes makes an odd sound like a flip flop when I walk and is annoying.
I've been buying these boots for years and it is the first time I've had the annoying sound.

We are walkers & have been buying Merrill boots for many years . The quality & comfort are great for what we need & great for rough terrain.

My husband says these are the best walking boots he has ever had! And I agree as I am having a new pair myself, after having walked every day in my previous pair! They are so light and comfortable, give you a spring in your step, they are waterproof, true to size and look great!

I have had nine pairs of Merrell Moab boots in the past 20 years . The latest pair have " brown " soles which in my opinion seem spongy and don't feel as if they give as much support to the foot as the old black/grey soles

Had two pairs of Merrell walking boots with gortex, both comfortable lasted quite well though funny enough not as long as a pair of merrell walking trainers I had they went for years and stayed waterproof, but the boots never stayed waterproof , might have lasted 6 months. Comfortable but very disappointed. Now having to look for another make to see how they do as fed up with wet feet

I am currently serving in the UK Armed forces.
From this I have constantly been looking for an optimal boot to use.

This Boot has been brilliant

I have used it in areas 30+ degrees and the Result 10/10
I have used it in areas in England in the wet and cold area they aren't semi waterproof
Zero Blisters in both Hot and Cold and Wet environments.

I would highly recommend this boot.
If I could ask for one thing make the exact same boot but with a high ankle protection.
(Please could i get a response with the possibility of a custom build the same boot with a high ankle protection option)
