I've had about 15 different merino base layers over many years for walking, backpacking, and daily wear in the winter.
This is one of the warmest I've found to date. Fit is reasonable, if anything slightly too long in the arm, which is better than the other way around.
Compared to the established merino brands costing £80-100 each this one is extremely good value.
After a months wear in cold conditions I've just ordered another 2.
