To be honest there is nothing wrong with this set up for the price . Nice lightweight rod and the and is also agood beginner reel . Pre loaded with line but you will need leeder line , flies and accessories at extra cost . Ideal for my son who is 10 to get a grip of how to fly fish with more practice. Not the end of the world if he broke it for the sake of 40 odd pounds .
