The Leatherman Surge is a real powerhouse, built with their largest pliers, longest multi-tool blades and easy-to-use locks.
Its unique blade exchanger, replaceable 154CM wire cutters and four outside-opening blades give you quick access to the tools you use most.
Every tool and knife on the body of the handle, with the exception of the plier head, will lock into place. By locking them into place when fully open, you can put pressure on the implement while safely completing the job, before manually unlocking the tool to stow it away.
A secure ring lets you attach the Surge safely and securely to a lanyard - useful if you're working near water or on scaffolding.
All the tools are easily accessible while the Surge is folded or closed, mimicking the functionality of a pocket knife. And every tool can be opened and operated with one hand, letting you keep the other hand free.

NOTE: the Surge comes with two files, one wood/metal file (10) and one diamond coated file (16/17). The diamond-coated file (shown on the image above) is a separate attachment located in a sleeve in the box. The saw is put on at the factory, but you can choose which one you prefer to have on the tool.

Millets have been terrible...
Millets have been terrible and I will try to avoid purchasing from them in the future. I bought the surge multi tool elsewhere and it is a good bit of kit.

The Leatherman Surge is Super
I purchased this in store even though they had none in stock so they sent it to my home 2 days later. Very pleased with this multi tool. It is very heavy 12oz but that is why I bought it. I already have one of these and having a second is perfect in case I loose it. The price I bought it for £115 is the cheapest anywhere in the uk, (hasn’t been that price for years).
This tool is a beast in strength and usability especially if you have bigger hands. The blade exchanger allows you to quickly swap out the saw blade for the diamond/cross file and you can put any jigsaw blade in there. 5 stars!

This is the King...
This is the King of multitools. Great price (£115) from millets, way cheaper than amazon or any main multi tool website. If weight is no bother, this is by far the best multi tool. This is my second, my original lasted over 10 years of hard use and even then, it was only the inside tools that broke. The knife blades and pliers were still strong and sharp despite never sharpening them for 10 years.
Received this over a week ago very nice all round heavy duty multitool
Only gripe is I can't suss out how to change the saw blade to the file that comes with it but otherwise I'm happy
