There are better jackets available, but they cost much more. For general daily hikes, and walking the dog in all weathers, this is more than sufficient - and it comes at a bargain price.

Unfortunately I found this jacket too tight on my shoulders although it did appear to be a decent substantial jacket but I had to return it.
