Great as a day...
Great as a day pack but has a few limitations. Outer pockets on either side are ideal to hold water bottles etc. However, if bag is not worn on your back with both straps on shoulders, they have a tendancy to fall out. Also, fact that there is no zip on these pockets, limits their versatility. Considering price,size and brand would still recomend.

Bought this for my sons birthday and he loves it, he uses it for work and gets all his stuff in with room to spare. Keeps everything inside dry, (very important in our climate) and looks good to boot

This review is for the Berghaus TwentyFourSeven 20 Litre Daysack.
I needed a new backpack for use on my bicycle as my old 10 Litre Karrimor one was too small and the zip pulls were breaking.
I have dropped one star off the overall score for reasons of design rather than quality. This is a very good quality item.
Also, I realise that this is mainly a review of Millets rather than the item itself and based on that, it’s 5 stars all the way. Millets have been faultless.
The design thing is a little picky and selfish too really to be honest.
The first thing is, I would have liked a slightly reinforced base on the pack. Like some sort of material to protect it when you sit it on the floor.
The other thing is I would have liked a hook and loop strap above one or both of the outside side pockets so that I could stow a collapsible umbrella or other long item.
If you do not require either of these features, this is a top marks piece of kit.
Very good and I am very happy with the backpack.

Overall very good product. Fast and secure shipping. And bag is also very nice. Clean and decent design. Space inside is also very nice with space too put books and pencil cases etc. There is also another pocket inside to put smaller things like keys
