Have 2 now. Used one daily 2 to 4 times for over a year mainly for drinks, valve and seals still perfect, 1 crack between 2 burner holes now but still fully functional. The box protects it well and the plastic is not the hard type that can crack. With a small Espresso pot I have to turn the legs in a little but bigger pots are fine. Ideal size gas is the Tuna can size for compact kit. From the stove to the valve the hose is approx 34cm so the taller the cartridge the closer it is to the stove. I cannot fault this item in any way, great value from a good brand.
The stove was a present for my son who has used it several times on fishing trips . He is very pleased with it.
Got to admit I was a little worried about this stove, as I have not come across this brand. But I shouldn't have worried, simple idea legs are sprung to lock open or closed, connections are sound and controllable. Flame is strong. It is small enough to fit into any spare space. The case is smart, how practical in the long run we will see
tried once. solid and easy to use. small and light
Packs down I to a tiny box and weighs nothing. Folds out to provide a really sturdy clocking surface with low centre of gravity. Also has some serious power and can boil water for a couple of cups of tea in no time at all. Cannot fault this stove, it's absolutely perfect for multi-day camping hikes.
One of the lightest and most compact stoves on the market. Ideal for day hikes and overnight camps where weight and size are important.
Because the stove has wide fold-out legs and connects to the gas via a flexible hose it is very stable too.
I have used this cooker when backpacking and I think it's one of the best on the market. It's light, stable and is very easy to use and setup. It packs down very well and I would recommend it,especially for things like D of E. Very pleased with this cooker.
This stove is excellent. It packs down really small with ease and is very light weight. As the stove sits low to the ground with the gas bottle to the side it is far more stable and is easier to shield from the wind.
if past experience is owt to go by, they're brilliant wee stoves.
Nice stove, well built and folds down nicely. works well on full power, but I have come across an issue when simmering. On a low setting, the flame can 'pop' and fall back inside the burner and start to heat up the gauze (if you have ever used a gas soldering iron, you will know what I mean). This results in the stove itself glowing red hot, and not actually producing much cooking heat. Even if you then turn up the power, The internal gauze just gets hotter and hotter, and still doesn't give off much cooking heat. I found if this happens, you need to turn it off and allow to cool, and restart.
