Glastonbury Festival 2008

After the tremendous success of last years registration system, Glastonbury have once again combined forces with Millets to make it easier than ever to register for this years Festival. Below has everything you need to know about the process, including links to the official registration page, the different ways in which you can register and also your Essential Glastonbury Kit List so that you can be fully prepared for every eventuality!

The Registration Process

Pre-sales registration remains an integral part of Glastonbury Festival's campaign to combat touting.

To buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2008 you will first have to register, which involves providing contact details and a passport standard photo. If you are planning to buy tickets for other people, they will all need to have pre-registered as well. Tickets will again feature the photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-exchangeable.

Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket but it does mean that you can attempt to buy a ticket when they go on sale on 6th April

You can register from 9am on Friday 1st February 2008 until the event, by one of three methods:

1. Collect a form from any branch of Millets, the high street camping store. Please complete the form and return by post to Glastonbury PO Box 2445, Glasgow, G40 9AG using the supplied envelope.

Your registration number will be sent to your registered address.

KEY POINTS

  • If you are not registered, you will not be able to buy a ticket. Everyone who registers will receive a unique registration number, which must be quoted when buying a ticket on 6th April.
  • There are no limits to the total number of people who will be allowed to register.
  • Please follow the instructions carefully and take care to make sure your photograph is of the correct style, size etc.
  • If you do not complete the form as instructed, your registration is likely to be rejected. Please take care when registering.
  • In the event of your online application not being accepted you will receive a notification e-mail from Seetickets. You will then need to reapply before February 29th.
  • If you do not receive notification of your registration number within two weeks of sending in your postal application, it is best to re-register in case your registration has been rejected, or not reached us in the first place. If you have not received a confirmation email within two days having made an online application, please check your spam filters.

  • Anyone with a family can buy up to four tickets for adults and two for children aged between 13, 14 and 15. This year these children will also need to be pre-registered. Their tickets will feature their own photos, providing them with a valued souvenir, and freedom of movement on site. Children aged 12 and under do not require a ticket and do not need to register. All children under 12 must be accompanied to the Festival by a responsible adult.
  • No information collected through registration will be offered for sale or use by any third party organisation. All data collected will be destroyed one month after the end of the festival.
