Disappointed - Not as good as I hoped!
To replace my old Brasher shoes
Had to get a differant range as the old ones i had are no longer made they were Brasher Country hike. These country Roamer walking shoes are just as comfortable and hopefully will last just as long as i do a lot of walking so they get used daily. They are hard wearing and waterproof which is a must. Sales man was helpful too and i got them at a discounted price.

These shoes are not cheap shoes to buy. I would expect a good fit but they were tight in one place and they slipped on the heal. I have bought similar shoes from millets and they fitted very well and they were cheaper. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone.

Really comfortable waking shoe. 4 stars only because the side stitching on the first pair started to come apart. Millets refunded me and I bought another pair.

Good quality fine leather and good construction with a vibrant sole glued solidly to the body . Double stitching and breathable lining with good quality paracord type laces . It's a shoe that will definitely last more than 5yrs rather than 5minutes . Attractive design will survive the temporary swings of fashion.

The shoes cushion the impact of the feet on the ground because the soles are good quality. Ideal for walking on paths, as they are shoes rather than boots I would not recommend them for walking in the rough because they do not support the ankles. I will be wearing them for walking around town as well as more serious planned outings.

I bought these for dog walks as need a reliable waterproof shoe/ boot. The first time I wore them I got blisters on both heels so could not wear while my heels were sore. I slowly broke them in by wearing indoors intermittently and they are now are comfortable enough to wear out. However, this week (early October22) is first time I have worn them outdoors and expected them to be waterproof. THEY ARE NOT !! The left shoe leaks significantly and it is only from walking across dewy grass that is pretty short... The reputation Brasher have is not deserved based on my experience !!!
