Victorinox Huntsman Knife

First off- I do not like Non locking multi tools as I have nearly cut myself as the knife can fold on you during use.However they are UK legal & Victorinox was number one in the last century.......It was my first multitool & I carried it 24/7 & used the flat head to open NHS toilet doors in Emergncies.
I used all the tools on this except the hook=Whats that for?The scissors are OK but weak & the spring fails in time but is replacable-Maybe fine for sewing,cutting paper or thin material but not nail cutting.
Worth buying JUST for the 'Tin Opener' as 1000x better than folding keyring ones.

The Huntsman is a great compromise between amount of tools and size, with sufficient tools to cover most Hiking and Camping tasks and nothing that would waste space.
Tools broadly cover food preparation (Tin opener, Cap lifter, Large knife, Corkscrew etc) and fire preparation (Wood Saw, Knife(s), Reamer)l,.
The Reamer is paticulary useful, as it enables holes to be made in wood and fabric and for repairs to be made to tents etc, as it has a sewing hole.
It also has Tweezers and a Toothpick and a couple of Screwdrivers, sufficient to handle some screws.
It's a great Knife and tool.
