The GPS 60 is a non-mapping unit that is pre-loaded with a 1MB marine point database, including worldwide cities, and has 1MB of internal memory for storing points of interest from a MapSource© CD. It is enabled for Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) to give greater accuracy and minimal loss of signal. A large, sunlight-readable greyscale display with a bright LED backlight makes it easy to find your way under all conditions. It stores 1,000 waypoints with name and graphic symbol; 20 reversible routes with up to 125 waypoints each; and 20 saved tracks with 10,000 trackpoints to allow you to retrace your path in both directions. The trip computer shows speed, trip timer and distance. It is waterproof, has a built-in quad-helix antenna and is supplied with a PC USB cable. Power comes from two AA batteries (not included), which will last for up to 28 hours. Size 15.5 x 6.1 x 3.3cm. Weight 212g with batteries.
