Whether you’re miles from civilisation or in a city centre, the GPS 60™ is an inexpensive, reliable and easy-to-use GPS receiver that will tell you exactly where you are, where you’ve been and where you’re going. Housed in a rugged, fully waterproof case with a large, sunlight-readable greyscale display and an LED backlight, it also has a backlit keypad and a built-in quad helix receiving antenna with remote antenna capability. GPS 60™ will operate for up to 28 hours on two AA batteries (not supplied). It is WAAS-enabled and has a 1MB internal memory with preloaded worldwide cities. The position formats include OSGB and latitude/longitude and the trip computer provides an odometer, stopped time, moving average, overall average, total time, maximum speed, 1,000 waypoints storage, 50 routes and 10,000 track points. You can interface with your computer through a serial or USB port (USB cable supplied). It measures 6.1 x 15.5 x 3.3cm and weighs 153g. This kit includes a carry case, Memory Maps of National Parks, a Memory Maps Made Easy guide and a useful handbook telling you how to use your GPS.
