Beginning with just two stores - in Bristol and Southampton - Millets has gone from strength to strength. Founded in 1893 by Mr J.M. Millet, an outfitter and draper, its core values still hold true today: to offer outstanding value for money and friendly, knowledgeable staff in every store, as well as an outstanding selection of outdoor kit.

Today, Millets is one of the high street's best-known names, offering quality products and friendly, knowledgeable advice in over 280 stores nationwide. From Peter Storm and Eurohike to Berghaus, Columbia and Coleman, Millets has both the understanding and the capability to meet our customers' high standards.

The commitment to providing outstanding customer service is exemplified not only by the staff, but by initiatives such as the Millets.co.uk website offering one of the widest ranges of outdoor products you will find on the Internet.

Millets also supports some of the UK's most prominent outdoors groups, including the Ramblers' Association. Millets is also a member of GO, the outdoor industry trade association.
