I am x large shirts etc i bought 2 of these tops and the fit was way too small

The thermal tops lived...
The thermal tops lived up to my expectations of insulating me from the relative coolness of the outside temperature and I scored them only slightly lower than the bottoms because I found them slightly harder to fit over my arms. (I have no idea why; perhaps because of arthritic fingers?)

For a XXL base layer, the length is on the short size. Certainly much shorter than similar products previously purchased. Overall quality is good value for money and will be fine if used solely as a base layer under a gilet.

I was really surprised that other reviews didn’t include that this product is so itchy. My husband and I both had one as a base layer for a trip to Iceland and can honestly say we couldn’t wait to get them off. We’ve had many base layer products with marino wool and they’ve been fine but even after a wash using fabric softener these base layers are awful, they are so, so itchy. They might be ok if they’re not in direct contact to skin.
