Peter Storm Men’s Caldbeck Waterproof Walking Boot

These are one of the most comfortable pair of walking boots I’ve ever had. Normally I would need to break new boots in but these were perfect from day one. The soft ankle support means there is no chafing or rubbing around that area, which is what I usually get from new boots. After 3 weeks of daily dog walks in very wet, blustery weather they appear to be waterproof and the generous size means that I can also wear a pair of thick walking socks. An extra 15% off the already discounted price meant that they were extremely good value too.

This is my second pair. Very comfortable with good grip although the heels needed to be repaired on my first pair (which is probably my fault and they are fine now (Sikaflex EBT+)). Most importantly they are waterproof and will remain so as long as you apply Dubbin or similar a few times a year especially around the stitching.

These are the best walking boots I have ever purchased. They are comfortable from day 1 off wearing them, so comfy I’m about to purchase another pair as I have worn my old ones everyday for 2 years whilst walking my pooches.
I would highly recommend these boots.

Very comfortable, stylish and sturdy walking boot

Bought these boots a few weeks ago and have already put over 30 miles on them through the Brecon Beacons.
Very comfortable from day one. No need to break the material in. Light weight. Warm (without pulling out sweaty feet). I’m really impressed with them. Once they’ve worn out I’ll be revisiting for another pair.

Excellent boots. Have given them a real test over the past few weeks in very wet, muddy and slippery conditions. They have performed really well and my feet have remained comfortable, warm and dry with plenty of support.

Look well made , hopefully will be comfortable, bought for a Christmas present

These are excellent everyday walking boots . They’re smart not too chunky, Waterproof and comfortable.I bought these as I endure foot fractures in both feet from years of arduous duty.I found these to be a good value supportive lightweight boot .Get a size one up from your usual as I’ve found over recent years depending where the boots made. if it’s made in the Eastern part of the world they tend not to be exact.I’m size 11 usually but I always get a 12 boot .

Have now worn these for 7 months doing about 70 miles a month on forest tracks and across numerous bogs. They have held up really well and truly are waterproof. The edges off the sole are showing some cracking but 500 miles on I think they have done well and are very comfortable. the price seems to go all over the price. I bought mine for £68 and now £85 is described as a special deal!

My old boots had decided to fall apart after years of use. For the sale price these looked a good replacement, I have done 3 good walks across muddy fields, hills and streams, they have proven to be waterproof and comfortable.
Only time will tell if they will last. May be back to write another review.

So happy with these comfortable from the first wear not need to wear in. Good support good fit and just what I needed. Brilliant! Highly recomend

very comfortable from the outset; no need to break them in. I have walked hundreds of miles in them with no real problems although storm Ciara was the first time that my feet got cold in them. I gave them their first clean at the weekend and noticed today (Monday) that some of the stitching at the heel has come undone already so not too happy that they haven't lasted very long. I only bought them last October so they haven't lasted six months.

Boots are comfortable and fit well. Seem well made but only had them for a few days so can’t vouch for durability.
