Hi-Tec Eurotrek Lite Waterproof Walking Boots

Admittedly I’m a heavy duty walker, averaging between 10k - 20k daily, but I’m through the soles of these boots in 7 months. Struggle to find hiking, work or trainers that last. Think this has a lot to do with the modern materials used. Not made to last. That said, the boots were comfortable, good waterproof and may well last longer for those who aren’t so heavy footed.

Bought these 18 months ago, used most autumn, winter and early spring days for walking the dog. Couple of months ago, both boots developed hairline cracks on the instep which quickly developed into wider, bigger cracks which let water into the boots. I believe I've looked after the boots reasonably well, and I'm disappointed that they have deteriorated so quickly. Replaced them with a pair of Berhaus which I hope will be longer lived.

Most comfy boots ever. However 18 months in (thinnest ever)'leather' peeled off toes and boots no longer waterproof. Very disappointed

Bought mine in July 2021 to replace Karrimor Munro boots which split after only 6 months. Just worn through the heels of these Hi-Tecs after one year and two days. I’ve done around 1000 - 1200 miles with them, mostly on tarmac & concrete, when walking the dogs. They are comfortable and definitely waterproof. Will be buying more when I’ve fully destroyed these heels.

I bought these boots 2 years ago. I usually go walking once a week but during lock down did not get out at all for at least six months. the boots have now started cracking where the balls of my feet are (where your toes bend). I would need a micrometre to measure the thickness of the leather, I've seen thicker paper. You need to check this web site very carefully as somewhere it does state that the boots are Faux Leather, underneath where mine have started peeling there is like a white mesh I guess this the waterproof membrane. Jury is out on whether or not I will buy these again.

I have had these boots now for 6 months now and so far, so good. I have had fabric covered boots previously but they seem to wear out all too quickly. For the price these are great value.

They're boots, aren't they? Difficult to get overenthusiastic about them. They work. That's fine.

I have bought them now for 15 years. The same size every time. Never have to return them. I do an awful lot of walking on concrete and in muddy woods. They last around a year which I think is good. I clean them with banana skins. Then I order some new ones. I am very happy so I never buy anything different.

Bought these for my 16 year old son. He's not a heavy user of walking boots, but for the types of walking he does, ie: muddy lanes, fields, slippery uphill/downhill slopes etc these are perfect. They fit well and are sturdy but lightweight, which is great when they get clogged in mud as they're still not too heavy.

comfortable, nice looking mens boots at an exceptional 'black friday' price, delivered a little slowly due to the stormy weather but no complaints from me or the dog.

Purchased size up from normal and found that to be a wise decision. I’m a UK 11 so bought a 12 as 11 was too tight . They’re quite a snug fit which is good .Worn them several times now and found them to be a good rugged waterproof supportive boot . Ideal for poor weather conditions and especially muddy fields .useful to carry in the ‘boot’ of the car !

Bought following recommendation from friend,they are indeed light in weight, too soon to gauge durability !

The Hi-Tec Men's Eurotrek Lite walking boot, I would recommend to all walkers, new and experienced. Not only is it great value compared to some of other walking shoes and boots that are available, it is extremely comfortable and with my first outing in the boots being across the Yorkshire Moors, UK they did not need anywhere wearing in prior to starting to the walking trip. Warm, comfy, supportive of the the ankle for uneven terrain and great value - you will not be disappointed.
