Terriblyy painful backpack
Good Bag
Needed something a bit bigger, and with a waist belt. This ticked the boxes at a reasonable price. Comfortable with a bit more weight than I could get in my old bag…DSLR, lenses, water, food and extra layers all cram in somehow. I’m about 6ft…if you are taller I’d try it for size as another reviewer mentioned. It does have a lot of straps which I haven’t got to grips with yet. Haven’t tried it in the rain so can’t comment on that

Great bag, maybe too...
Great bag, maybe too many straps

This is a one fits all Bergen. If you are tall over 6’ as I am, I would say it’s perhaps not the one for you.
Comfort is good, plenty of storage space, looks good but the drawback is it’s not long enough in the body and the waist straps end up too high.
Not sure or can I see how to extend the frame.

I work outdoors using hand/power tools and the most painful part of my day is walking home with this backpack. on my back. It's ok when empty but if it's full it will cause a lot of pain. So straps that seem to do nothing are perfectly located so they dig into the middle upper back. 40 quid wastes.
