Meindl Kansas boots
Best boots I've had by a mile.
Well there's boots then there's these. Fantastically comfortable and fills you with confidence striding down steep slippery slopes. Very very hard wearing. I've put them on at 6am walked all day set up camp and taken them off at bed time and my feet were dry and as fresh as a daisy. Just a well thought out quality boot that's great value. I've had more expensive boots over the years but these are on a different level, end of.
6 Years and going strong
First it should be said that I'm not 'KIND' to my boots. They get used as they where intended in all weathers and on all terrains.
I've had many boots over the years that come and go, From winter mountaineering to light weight summer. But by far my oldest and most reliable in nearly every situation have been my Kansas.
If i need long distance comfort, a solid scrambling boot or hard days in serious weather covered, they are my go to option.
Like i say, six years and going strong.

it will take many months of wear before can be sure that boots are good value/quality but at present are completely satisfied.
